The weather was perfect this week for our annual Athletics Day. After walking to the oval to the chants of the war cries the day began with running events followed by shot put, high jump, tug-o-war, sack races, parachute fun and kee'an (fox tails).
The students had a wonderful day competing and supporting their fellow house members displaying so many lovely acts of sportsmanship. The scores were very close in the end, but it was Noonuccal with the win, Kindarra second and Choongai third.
Huge thanks to the P & C for running the canteen, Sibelco for helping with the morning set-up, the Cencig family for helping pack up and Mr Grayling for his huge effort in organising the day.
Congratulations to everyone who competed on the day, as well as our Age Champions, and our winning house Noonuccal!
