Students who had participated in the Blue Edge Program though-out the term were rewarded with a trip to Chermside. They had a free breakfast at McDonalds and then went to Rebel Shoes where they were allowed to choose a pair of shoes to the value of $150 to keep. Gosh! They were so happy! But, that was not all, they then went bowling. Next was Laser tag which was the highlight for many of the students. Following this they went to a Games Arcade where they had a $10 gift card to spend on whatever they wished.
At the end of the day all the participants received a certificate for completing the course as well as a Blue Edge t-shirt.
Many thanks to the Blue Edge Program and Matt as well as our local policemen Senior Constables Grant and Matt for such a wonderful program which focused on healthy eating, fitness training, team building and empowerment.
