The weather could not have been better for the 2021 Walkathon. All of the students walked along the beach from Cylinder Beach to Adder Rock passing crystal clear water. They were treated to a cultural talk from Elisha Kissick which was very insightful, and as she was mentioning the dolphins we looked out to sea and spotted a pod cruising by right on cue. The children also had a lovely swim and some took part in beach games and sand modelling. There was lots of fresh fruit on offer as well as a sausage sizzle all provided by the P & C. The highlight of the day for many was the impromptu meeting of Xavier Coates (Broncos winger) in the park. A wonderful time was had by all who attended.
