All of the students in the school were fortunate to have Dr. Martin Wynn deliver a lesson on 'Glass - More Than Meets the Eye' at the Moreton Bay Research Station. Students were able to see first hand how we can bend light and use it to our advantage. The children also discovered that the smaller the drop of water used over a lens the greater the magnification. Another interesting demonstration was that white light is made up of colours.
We would like to thank Dr Wynn, Martin and the Moreton Bay Research Centre for this wonderful experience given to our students, they were thrilled and thouroughly enjoyed being in the laboratory, working as scientists. We really appreciate the relationship our school has with the Moreton Bay Research Station - University of QLD.
