This week we had a special parade with Delvene Cockatoo-Collins attending to present awards to some children. Students who had submitted entries into the competition to design the medal to be handed to the winners of this year's Straddie Salute were the recipients of the awards. The design's brief was to capture how they feel about Straddie.
All students who entered received a book and book mark. Special mention was given to Kaboora and Hudson and they received a new back pack as well.
The overall winner was Josie who received a medal (with her design) and a Kick Pro scooter as her prize. Congratulations!
