It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Dunwich State School. As a school community, we place a high value on the importance of First Nations cultures and are committed to promoting awareness and understanding of Indigenous perspectives and knowledges across all learning areas. We strive to develop strong relationships with our local Indigenous communities and incorporate Indigenous perspectives into our curriculum and school activities.
We respectfully acknowledge the Noonuccal, the Goenpul and the Ngugi traditional owners, on whose land we have the privilege to work, live and play each day. We acknowledge and pay our respects to our Elders, past, present and emerging. We also acknowledge that the land, seas and rivers across this country are, and always will be, traditional Aboriginal land and Torres Strait Islander land.

It is designed to keep you up-to-date with the latest school news and events, as well as provide useful resources and information for students and families. I invite you to visit the school, to get to know the staff and other parents because it is by developing a close relationship between parents and staff that we can achieve the very best for our children.
