It was perfect weather this week for our 2022 Swimming Carnival. We started with the junior carnival for Prep - Year 2. There was fantastic participation seeing nearly every student involved. The freestyle event was first followed by kickboard and woggle races. There were so many lovely smiles! Next was the Year 3-6 students with freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly for the upper grades. These events were followed by the relay. There were so many incredible acts of sportsmanship on display as student congratulated each other after performing to their individual best.
The overall winning house was Kindara with Choongai and Noonuccal only having 1 point separating them for 2nd and 3rd.
Age champions were : 8 Year Girls - Alaina L, 9 Year Girls - Yazmin E, 9 Year Boy - Jarrod C, 10 Year Girls - Lucca C & Honor M, 10 Year Boys - William G, 11 Year Girls - Sienna A, 11 Year Boys - Dan K, 12 Year Girls - Billie B, 12 year Boys - Sonny L. Huge congratulations to all who competed!
