Due to COVID19 restrictions this year our students were unable to compete with other schools in the STEM challenge, so to meet the need we decided to have an intra-school challenge. Some students from Years 5 and 6 designed and coded a game using their knowledge of Scratch and game mechanics. Their games were judged by three professionals who work in the industry.
Another STEM Challenge students took part in was a Sumo Bot Battle. The students were required to build and code their own robots to seek out and push their opponents Sumo Bot our of the specified ring.
The students certainly rose to the challenge!
