Our school celebrated NAIDOC day on Friday 14th July. Students sang the school song to open the ceremony and it was followed by a wonderful performance of indigenous dancing. Many of the students took part in dancing, and, for a few it was their first performance in public. Students were also able to take part in a variety of activities including cultural talks by Matthew Burns, dungle art painting, cooking demonstrations, weaving, indigenous games and a science activity by UQ Research Station.  It was a fantastic event enjoyed by all.
